    Meet us at the Rock House coffee shop at 1150 Central Ave. to discuss “Working Stiff: Two Years, 262 Bodies, and the Making of a Medical Examiner” by Judy Melinek, MD.

    Description: “A young forensic pathologist’s “rookie season” as a NYC medical examiner, and the hair-raising cases that shaped her as a physician and human being.”
  • "Flight of the Butterflies" Film Screening and Discussion

    The Butterflies are Coming! Spring is here, and our most charismatic insect neighbors will soon be here as well. Come to the library to learn about monarchs and much more, including how you can create habitat in your yard to support butterflies and other pollinators. Kids and adults are welcome.

  • How to Prepare for the Rising Cost of College

    Each year, the price of college tuition rises higher than the annual inflation rate. With these steep increases, how can college bound families afford to pay for college? Thomas J. Jaworski of Quest College Consulting will share his expertise to break down the cost of college, explain changes to the financial aid process and how to find scholarships. This program is designed for both parents and students to help maximize their dollar for college.
