She meets some people on the streets and joins them incase they know anything about Day (the criminal). She finds out that the street guy is Day and the Republic goes for his family and captures Day. The June (the girl) finds out that Day is innocent and tries to get him out.

This is a true story about how the US, Germany, Great Britain and the Soviets were trying to be the first to build/steal the atomic bomb because it would give them an advantage in WWII. The US and the UK were working together to build the bomb and Germany was racing them. The Soviets were trying to steal the bomb from the US and UK (even though they were all trying to take Germany down) so they could have it for themselves.
