    Join us for an outdoor storytime when you take the Park-a-Day Challenge to play, discover new play spaces, and promote children's unstructured play. Co-sponsored by the Winnetka Park District and the Northfield Park District, in partnership with The Alliance for Early Childhood and the Glencoe, Kenilworth, and Wilmette Park Districts.

  • The Frog Lady Presents: Reptiles & Amphibians

    Learn the differences and similarities between reptiles and amphibians and meet over 20 live animals. You can stay after to get your picture taken with them, so be sure to bring your camera.

  • Scratch Digital Media Design

    Where: Small Meeting Room

    Make your very own Magic 8 Ball with Scratch! You'll be able to predict the future! Everyone will get a CD with their own copy of Scratch. You'll be on your way to learning the basics of computer programming, media design, and creating your own games, animations and digital stories. For grades 5-9. Sign-up starts Monday, June 4.

  • Family Picnic with Jason Kollum

    When: Monday, June 18, 2012 - 7:00 PM
    Where: Library Lawn

    Family entertainer Jason Kollum presents an interactive, total-participation entertainment! First, it's the Rock n' Roll Variety Juggling Show with comedy, tons of audience participation, and huge balancing and juggling stunts. The fun continues after the show as Jason moves throughout the picnic with lots of interactive skills that kids get to actually try! For all ages. If you wish, come at 6:30 and bring a picnic dinner. In case of rain or extreme heat, the show will take place in the Library Auditorium.
